Crypto Whales Shift from Bitcoin to XRP and Solana Amid Market Rotation
Crypto whales are changing their investment strategies, shifting money from Bitcoin to altcoins like XRP and Solana. This movement is happening despite a traditional market selloff triggered by the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance. According to Pluang, record inflows have reached $110 million for XRP ETFs and $154 million for Solana ETFs.
Bitcoin remains relatively stable near $82,000 after a 23% rally, but institutional investors are broadening their focus to altcoins. This shift is supported by strong institutional inflows and large funds ready to buy dips.
The upcoming U.S. payroll data could influence short-term trends. Solana processed a record 5.2 billion non-vote transactions in August due to a major upgrade that increased compute limits per block by 66%, and a surge in ETF inflows totaling $1.34 billion.
