Cryptocurrency Developments: Buybacks, Infrastructure, and Adoption
Several popular cryptocurrencies have reported developments in their infrastructure and adoption. BlockDAG has announced a buyback program, offering holders a chance to redeem BDAG tokens for USDT at a rate of $0.03 during a seven-day window.
The project states that eligible purchases made between $0.00000017 per BDAG will be counted towards the overall allocation, and the dashboard will automatically compute the final USDT valuation. Settlements are processed sequentially in batches to meet compliance requirements.
Chainlink, on the other hand, is being used as a decentralized oracle network that conveys off-chain data to blockchains. Its infrastructure is being explored by payment and financial technology providers for linking banking systems to onchain settlement frameworks.
Stellar is designed for quick, low-cost international payments, with its use cases including cross-border payment routing and low-fee transfers. MoneyGram recently announced a stablecoin-backed Visa card built on the Stellar network in Colombia.
