The cryptocurrency market finished the week of July 27-August 1 on a lower note, driven by the U.S. Federal Reserve's cautious stance and volatile inflows into exchange-traded funds.

BTC was trading around $63,000 as of August 1, down from approximately $65,300 at the start of the week, resulting in a loss of about 3.6% for Bitcoin.

Ethereum rose to nearly $1,950 at the beginning of the week but then faced pressure, while most major altcoins struggled to establish a sustained upward trend as investors opted to reduce their positions in riskier assets.
