Cryptocurrency Market Eyes 'Uptober' Boost with Institutional Flows and Tokenization Catalysts
The cryptocurrency market enters October with a more constructive environment, but still dependent on key confirmations.
Following a positive September for many of the assets followed by analysts, Bitcoin returned to higher levels, institutional flows into ETFs gained strength, and narratives like tokenization, DeFi, decentralized derivatives, and network upgrades returned to focus.
October also carries a historical factor: 'Uptober', a nickname given due to its predominantly positive performance for Bitcoin in most years. Although past behavior does not guarantee new highs, analysts believe that seasonality gains weight when accompanied by improvements in fundamentals, liquidity recovery, and concrete events on the calendar.
According to Marcelo Person, Crypto Treasury & Markets Director at Foxbit, Bitcoin enters October with institutional flows again in focus, while Ethereum, Sui, Ondo, and Uniswap appear as assets with their own catalysts. André Franco, CEO of Boost Research, adopts a more concentrated filter: solid fundamentals, real value creation, and marked events on the calendar.
