Cryptocurrency Market Sees Mixed Performances as NEAR Surges
The crypto market started October with modest gains, but each major asset's performance was distinct. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP held below their respective resistance levels, while NEAR Protocol rebounded strongly. Quant, which had a notable 7.36% gain, consolidated its recent recovery.
Bitcoin closed September 30 at $83,728, a 0.49% increase from the previous day. It failed to hold above the $85,210 resistance level, but its intraday high of $85,518 remains a key level to watch. Bitcoin's support remains near $82,580-$82,950, with the 20-day simple moving average at $81,302.
Ethereum, on the other hand, closed at $2,695.47, a 0.86% gain. It remains below the $2,743 resistance level, but its Fibonacci retracements place a support reference near $2,635, above its Bollinger midpoint.
$XRP finished September 30 near $1.49, below the $1.53-$1.56 resistance band. Its 20-day simple moving average rose to about $1.44, and Fibonacci retracements provide additional reference points. The 50% retracement falls within the established $1.45-$1.47 support area.
$NEAR Protocol closed at $5.39, a 10.48% gain. It rebounded toward its September high, but its four-hour MACD showed improving momentum. A daily reclaim of $5.16-$5.19 would support another attempt at $5.49-$5.57.
