Cryptocurrency Market Sees Turning Points Ahead for NEAR, HYPE, ETH, and XRP
Near Protocol (NEAR), Hyperliquid (HYPE), Ethereum (ETH), and XRP are all showing strong technical profiles, but each is facing unique challenges as they approach critical resistance and support levels.
NEAR has been one of the strongest performers in recent months, with its price more than doubling since August. The asset's artificial intelligence narrative and ecosystem developments have drawn increased attention from investors, while the launch of Bitwise's spot NEAR ETF on NYSE Arca on September 29 has amplified institutional interest.
However, NEAR's technical profile signals caution. Its price is far above all key moving averages, with short-term metrics rising toward $3.80 and longer-term averages trailing well behind. This separation points to intense momentum but also magnifies correction risk should buyers falter near immediate resistance between $5.40 and $5.50.
Ethereum (ETH) is consolidating around $2,702 after completing an impressive multi-month surge. The asset's latest advance peaked at nearly $2,800 before sellers established short-term resistance. Crucially, ETH has maintained most of its gains even as momentum indicators fell, indicating underlying strength.
XRP is now trading at $1.52, recovering from a turbulent September that significantly changed its technical outlook. A breakthrough above a descending resistance formed after the September spike marked a pivotal shift for XRP. The asset is also trading above all major daily moving averages, with the fastest metric rising toward $1.44 and clustered medium-term support around $1.35, $1.38.
