Estonia-based CryptoHoldings has launched the public offer of its CHT utility token on Base, Ethereum's Layer 2 network. The offer began on October 17, 2026, following the publication of a MiCA-notified white paper. The CHT token introduces a community governance program that allows holders to vote on the location, intended use, and selection of the ecosystem's first planned property.
The governance process consists of four stages, starting with the selection of a continent on October 17, 2026. Subsequent votes will determine the country (November 14, 2026), the property's intended use (December 12, 2026), and the specific property (January 9, 2027). Each CHT token represents one vote, and decisions become binding only if participation exceeds 75% of the issued tokens.
Beyond governance, CryptoHoldings is developing services that connect its Web3 infrastructure with real estate analysis. The platform offers Real Estate Reports, digital assessments evaluating a property's suitability for tokenization, paid for using CHT. The ecosystem also includes a Property Inclusion Programme, allowing property owners with qualifying reports to submit their properties for community voting.
CHT is an ERC-20 utility token deployed on Base Mainnet, with a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. The platform emphasizes identity verification and anti-money-laundering requirements, with participation in the public offer subject to KYC/AML processes. Eligible retail purchasers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under MiCA provisions.
