CryptoQuant Warns of Bitcoin Correction Amid Rising Trader Profits
Bitcoin's recent price surge may be approaching its end, according to CryptoQuant. The firm reports that short-term trader profits have reached their highest level in 21 months, with holders realizing $25,700 in profits on September 22.
The largest daily total of 2026 comes as the market faces a potential correction. Apparent spot demand has contracted by 170,000 BTC over the past 30 days, and futures demand growth has fallen sharply from 164,000 BTC to 16,000 BTC.
CryptoQuant research head Julio Moreno notes that the recent rally was largely driven by speculative futures demand, which may limit short-term price gains. The firm's Bitcoin Bull Score Index remains high at 90 out of 100, but signals a weakening momentum in the market.
