Cryptos Crash Across the Board as Risk Aversion Takes Hold
Crypto markets experienced a severe downturn overnight, with all major digital assets plummeting in value. The broad-based sell-off saw Bitcoin (BTC) fall by 3.62% to $77,359.91, while Ethereum dropped 3.44% to $2,424.83.
The losses were not limited to the flagship coins, as BNB declined 3.51% to $687.13 and Avalanche fell 3.68% to $7.25. The mid-cap and smaller assets were also heavily impacted, with several altcoins experiencing steeper declines.
Solana plummeted 5.31% to $103.40, while Dogecoin dropped 5.16% to $0.08. XRP fell 5.62% to $1.37, and Cardano led losses among the group, dropping 6.30% to $0.20.
The uniformity of the sell-off suggests a broad-based risk aversion rather than any coin-specific catalyst. As a result, traders will be closely monitoring overnight price action for any signs of stabilization or further deterioration.
