Cryptos Make Bold Moves in AI: Ethereum, Solana, Bittensor Lead the Charge
The age of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way cryptocurrencies operate, and several top players are positioning themselves to capture value from AI. Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Bittensor (TAO) are making bold moves in this space.
Ethereum's newly launched identity standard for AI agents, ERC-8004, or Trustless Agents, addresses the issue of tracking identities and reputations of AI agents. This allows users to assess which agents are suitable for specific tasks. The standard has already been picked up by over 20 other networks.
Solana is pursuing a strategy to become a primary venue for trading tokenized stocks, with more than 95% of all tokenized equity activity taking place on its network. Its adoption of the x402 standard enables agents to make easy purchases of resources on the internet.
Bittensor hosts many subnets that provide AI-related services for a fee. The subnet's contributors offer their computing power, and validators grade it before issuing newly issued units of Bittensor's native token. This model allows decentralized execution of tasks that typically require substantial aggregated resources.
