Cryptos Suffer $49 Million in Liquidations Across Major Exchanges
Crypto markets experienced a significant wave of liquidations on September 30, with $49.15 million in total losses across Binance, Bybit, and OKX within a single hour.
The majority of these losses came from long positions, accounting for $24.76 million, while short positions accounted for the remaining $24.39 million. This means that long liquidations slightly surpassed half of the combined figure.
Binance bore the brunt of these losses with $28.24 million in liquidations during this period. OKX followed closely behind at $14.05 million, while Bybit recorded $6.86 million in liquidations.
The top three assets affected by these liquidations were Bitcoin (BTC) with $17.90 million, Ether (ETH) with $15.91 million, and Solana (SOL) with $3.58 million in losses.
