CSD BR Records Investment Fund Ownership on XRP Ledger
Brazil's CSD BR, which oversees $4 trillion in financial assets, has started recording ownership records for some investment funds managed by BTG Pactual on the XRP Ledger.
The company will maintain its existing database as the official ledger while creating separate records on the public blockchain that represent fund units as tokens.
This move allows approved banks and companies to directly verify ownership information recorded on the XRP Ledger and compare it in real time with CSD BR's official database.
