Curve Dominates Governance Token Developer Activity on Ethereum and Arbitrum
Curve Finance has taken the top spot in governance token developer activity on both Ethereum and Arbitrum, according to recent data from Santiment. The automated market maker's consistent development on multiple chains sets it apart from its competitors.
The data shows that Curve's twin first-place finishes are a result of steady work across its multi-chain deployments. This is reflected in the Santiment update, which tracks GitHub activity across prominent governance projects in crypto.
Radworks slipped to third place after holding second spot last month, while API3 climbed into fourth and Reserve Protocol dropped to fifth. Alchemix and Sperax moved up further down the list, but Terra Classic and Ampleforth fell.
The significance of GitHub commits for governance tokens lies in their ability to separate projects that are genuinely iterating from those coasting on old narratives. Consistent development is crucial for governance tokens, where voting power often correlates with protocol longevity.
