CyberLeek Leaks Unfinished GTA 6 Footage, Sparks Industry Debate
An anonymous individual or group known as CyberLeek has been releasing what appears to be unfinished footage from Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), just three months before its release. The videos have been posted online, showing driving, fighting, and other gameplay elements, along with images of the game's map.
CyberLeek claims to be a digital vigilante fighting for video game consumers, and has published a manifesto outlining its demands for the industry. The group argues that major game publishers have made the industry worse for customers, and is calling for an end to digital preorders and paid add-ons that unlock single-player content.
The authenticity of the footage is not confirmed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar. However, prominent gaming leaker NateTheHate has described the footage as more than a year old, suggesting it may be from an early development build.
CyberLeek's demands and actions have raised concerns about the potential for spoilers and leaks before the game's release. The group has also launched its own cryptocurrency and is asking fans to vote on which footage to release next.
