Cypherpunk Tech Adds Amanda Fabiano to Board Amid Zcash Mining Expansion
Cypherpunk Technologies has appointed Amanda Fabiano to its Board of Directors. The appointment comes as the company expands its Zcash mining activities, having launched Cypherpunk Mining in August 2026 with approximately 4.2 GSol/s of mining capacity across the United States.
Fabiano brings extensive experience in digital asset mining, infrastructure development, and public company governance to her new role. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Nakamoto Inc., a publicly traded Bitcoin-focused company, and as an independent director of TeraWulf Inc., a publicly traded Bitcoin mining company that has expanded into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing infrastructure.
Cypherpunk launched its mining business with the goal of generating additional Zcash (ZEC) while expanding its presence in digital asset infrastructure. The company's broader strategy involves accumulating ZEC through open-market purchases, investing in acquiring and developing privacy-focused technologies, and building a portfolio of these technologies.
