CZ: Millionaires May Struggle to Buy One Whole Bitcoin
CZ, the billionaire founder of Binance, has once again emphasized Bitcoin's long-term scarcity. According to CZ, the cryptocurrency's fixed supply could eventually lead to a situation where even millionaires struggle to afford one whole Bitcoin.
The prediction is based on the idea that demand for Bitcoin will continue to rise as more individuals and institutions seek exposure to digital assets. However, the available supply remains limited at 21 million BTC, with new coins entering circulation through mining at a decreasing rate over time.
CZ has previously suggested that Bitcoin could reach $600,000 during a future market cycle and potentially reach $1 million in a subsequent cycle if adoption continues to expand. He argues that the price of one Bitcoin should not be confused with the minimum amount required to participate in the Bitcoin economy, as the cryptocurrency can be divided into smaller units called satoshis.
The concentration of Bitcoin among large holders has become an increasingly important part of the market, with institutional demand changing the ownership structure. CZ's prediction is a long-term thesis rather than a certainty, and the future price of Bitcoin remains uncertain due to factors such as government regulations and competing technologies.
