CZ Sees Crypto Winter Investments as Potential Top Performers
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao believes that YZi Labs' investments made during the recent crypto market downturn could become some of its strongest performers.
The firm, which manages more than $10 billion for Zhao and Binance co-founder Yi He, has invested across various sectors including artificial intelligence, robotics, payments, and digital asset infrastructure.
Zhao argues that the surge of capital into AI has helped filter out short-term crypto projects, while some investment capital is beginning to rotate back into digital assets.
YZi Labs' largest disclosed investment was a $52 million funding round for physical AI company RoboForce in March, followed by an $8 million pre-seed round for payments protocol AEON in May.
