CZ's Luxury Life in Abu Dhabi Exposed: Billion-Dollar Web, Trump Ties, and a $2 Billion Investment Deal
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, has been living a life of luxury in Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Island, where he resides in a nine-bedroom ocean-view villa. He personally chauffeurs guests in a white Nissan SUV and maintains a web of financial interests worth billions of dollars connecting him to the UAE's ruling elite and the Trump family.
After receiving a presidential pardon from Donald Trump in 2025, Zhao chose to settle in the UAE, where he has become one of the most influential figures in the global cryptocurrency industry. His autobiography, Freedom of Money, was written in prison and details his life story, including how he sold his apartment and invested in Bitcoin in 2013, becoming one of the first major adopters of the cryptocurrency.
The report reveals that Zhao's relationship with the UAE began in 2021, when he was granted a golden visa and later became a citizen. He also has a $2 billion investment deal with the UAE sovereign fund MGX, which valued Binance at $75 billion and used the Trump family's stablecoin, USD1, as the settlement currency.
