Dallas Duo Busted for Crypto-Targeted Home Invasion

Share

Two men from Dallas, Texas, were arrested on September 24, 2026, in connection with an attempted armed home invasion in South San Jose. The suspects, Damian Vielma and Jeremiah Clybourn, both 19 and 20 years old respectively, allegedly targeted a residence they believed held substantial crypto holdings.

The incident occurred on September 5, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., when two individuals posing as delivery workers attempted to gain entry into the home. One of them displayed a firearm, but the resident did not answer the door, causing the pair to flee.

Authorities were able to track down the suspects using automated license plate reader technology (ALPR), which helped investigators locate the vehicle involved in the incident. A search warrant executed in Dallas revealed firearms connected to the San Jose incident and other items linked to criminal activity.
