DappOS Unveils Web3 AI Operating System to Tackle Usability Gap
DappOS is an ambitious project aimed at solving Web3's usability gap. It started life in 2022 as a protocol focused on making decentralized applications (dApps) feel as easy to use as mobile apps.
The original idea was an intent-centric execution network, where users would state their intentions and the network would figure out how to execute them. For example, instead of manually approving every swap or trade, a user could simply say 'convert my USDC to ETH at the best rate.'
Since then, DappOS has evolved into a full Web3 AI operating system that researches, plans, and executes crypto-related tasks on behalf of users. It sits between the person and the messy back-end of blockchains, wallets, and dApps, trying to remove technical friction.
DappOS is built on two layers: the Intelligence Layer, which handles research and planning, and the Execution Layer, which carries out on-chain actions. The Intelligence Layer has a Multi-Agent Framework with 300-400 specialized agents and over 200 integrated tools, plus a reinforcement learning system called the Bubble Engine.
The Execution Layer has processed over 12 million transactions across more than 5 million users, giving it a track record most AI agent projects in crypto don't have yet. DappOS also offers key features such as Unified Account, Optimistic Minimum Staking (OMS), and Intent Assets.
