DataMEDS AI Soars on Helomics Acquisition for $1.5 Million

DataMEDS AI (MEDS) shares surged after announcing the completion of its Helomics Corporation acquisition from Axe Compute Inc. for $1.5 million.

The purchase price was financed through equity issuance and an acquisition note structure, with no external liabilities assumed by DataMEDS.

Through the deal, DataMEDS gained access to Helomics' CLIA/CAP-certified laboratory facilities, complete ownership of laboratory assets, and $1.5 million in cash.

DataMEDS now positions itself within the substantial U.S. oncology diagnostics and therapeutics sector, valued at approximately $40 billion.
