Datavault AI Given Second Chance by Nasdaq to Hit $1 Stock Price
Datavault AI (DVLT) has received a second extension from Nasdaq to get its stock price above $1.00, giving it until February 22, 2027, to comply.
The company's current stock price is $0.31, and to meet the requirement, it needs to close at or above $1.00 for ten consecutive trading days before the deadline.
Nasdaq granted Datavault a 180-day extension on August 25, which was previously expected to expire in February 2027. However, given that the stock price remains below the minimum bid requirement, the additional six months will allow the company more time to address this issue.
A reverse stock split is being considered as one option to cure the deficiency and get DVLT above the required threshold. The company has also made significant progress in recent deals, including the acquisition of NYIAX last week, which added blockchain settlement capabilities and four U.S. patents.
