The D'CENT wallet hack has exposed a multi-blockchain vulnerability, leading to one of the biggest crypto security failures of the year.

A wave of thefts tied to the D'CENT wallet hack has resulted in over 12.4 million XRP being drained from more than 7,000 wallets, with the loss valued at around $20 million.

The breach has spread beyond XRP to other blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, and Stellar, highlighting a flaw that lets attackers empty wallets across different chains using a single stolen credential.

D'CENT is urging affected users to generate new recovery phrases and migrate all assets immediately due to the ongoing risk associated with their app-created wallets.
