DCENT Warns Users of Anomalous Asset Transfers in App Wallet

Share

Crypto wallet manufacturer DCENT has issued a critical security alert to its users after detecting anomalous asset transfers linked to its App Wallet.

The company, which was founded by security experts with experience in Secure Element (SE) and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technologies, asked users to transfer their funds 'as soon as possible to a secure hardware wallet or another trusted address'.

The issue appears to be limited to the App Wallet, and users who only connected their device without entering the seed phrase do not need to take action, according to DCENT.

DCENT emphasized that it prioritizes the investigation and will provide updates through its official channels once the cause, scope of impact, and additional response measures are confirmed.
