Decade of iPhone Abstinence Yields $17.2M in BTC
Bitcoin's price has been hovering around $78,371, but what if you had invested in something else over the past decade? Skipping iPhone upgrades since 2011 could have yielded a substantial amount of Bitcoin, according to an analysis.
A person who opted out of buying the latest iPhones each year would now control approximately 220 BTC, valued at $17.2 million at current prices. This is compared to the cost of just one iPhone in 2011, which was around 162 BTC, and the current price of the iPhone 18 Pro, a mere 0.015 BTC.
The MACD death cross is currently pointing towards a likely retracement towards the lower band support before any sustained move higher. The Bollinger bands are also in play, with the upper resistance at $79,735.58 and the EMA50 at $78,861.71 capping upside.
