Zora, a cryptocurrency project, has announced a change in leadership with Dee Goens taking over as CEO. He replaces Jacob Horne, who has been at the helm for over six years.

Goens stated that Horne will be leaving to start a new chapter, but 'won't be far from crypto'. The team has undergone significant changes, including layoffs, reducing the number of employees to under 10 people. Zora is now transitioning towards an AI-driven operational model.

The project has shifted its focus from Creator Coins, introduced in June on Base, to supporting other networks' trading pairs. Custom Pairs, launched on August 20, allows users to create over 4,000 custom token pairs. Zora has also expanded its presence to Robinhood Chain and Solana, enabling cross-chain transactions.

Goens outlined five key priorities for the project's future, with the primary goal being to align business operations with ZORA token holders through repurchase and reward mechanisms. However, he did not disclose specific details on scale, funding, or timelines.
