DeFi Composability Hits All-Time High Amid Record Hacks
Tokenized assets in DeFi protocols have reached an all-time high of nearly $3.97 billion, according to data from DeFiLlama's dashboard.
This marks a significant milestone despite the record 99 hacks in the second quarter of 2026, which saw over $7 billion invested in tokenized funds by Wall Street.
While only $49.7 million of this investment is being used in DeFi protocols, there are signs that composability is increasing.
Private credit assets, such as Maple's syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT, account for about 38.6% of the total value with a utilization rate of 55.39% and 91.43%, respectively.
