DeFi Technologies Unveils AI-Driven Crypto Hedge Fund
DeFi Technologies has unveiled an AI-run crypto hedge fund called Smart Crypto Fund SP. The new business line, Valour Funds SPC, is a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies and offers professional investors with access to an actively managed investment strategy based on artificial intelligence.
The fund combines Valour's institutional infrastructure with Neuronomics' proprietary AI ensemble, which analyzes price, volume, and other market data over short and medium time horizons. It uses this information to guide portfolio allocations across a regularly reviewed selection of liquid digital assets.
Dr. Michael Kometer, Founder and CEO of Neuronomics AG, said 'Digital asset markets generate enormous volumes of rapidly changing information, but the challenge is determining which signals matter, over what horizon and under which market conditions.'
The launch marks Valour's expansion into the hedge fund segment, with Smart Crypto Fund SP being its first hedge fund. The company offers over 100 digital asset ETPs, more than any other digital asset manager globally.
