DeFi Technologies (DEFI.NE) has announced the launch of Valour Funds SPC, a new business division that delivers actively managed digital asset investment strategies. This move is part of the company's efforts to expand its offerings beyond exchange-traded products (ETPs).

The inaugural fund under this structure is the Smart Crypto Fund SP, a hedge fund designed for professional and qualified investors. The fund leverages proprietary artificial intelligence models created by Neuronomics AG, in which DeFi Technologies holds a minority interest.

The Smart Crypto Fund SP employs a multi-model AI system to dynamically allocate investments across liquid digital assets using price, volume, and market data signals. This approach allows the fund to selectively invest when the risk-reward profile is favorable and reduce exposure when model signals weaken or risk increases.
