Democrats Vow to Launch 'Many' Investigations into Trump's Activities

Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) stated that if Democrats win the majority in the midterms, they will launch 'many' investigations into President Donald Trump's activities. She claimed that Trump and his family have accumulated an 'insane amount of wealth' since he took office, with a low estimate of $2.2 billion for last year alone.

Jayapal suggested that corruption is a pattern that can be exploited if left unchecked: 'You do it once, you do it again, you do it a third time, and it gets bigger and bigger each time because you're not stopped.'

When asked about the top priorities for the Judiciary Committee's investigations, Jayapal mentioned pardons, cryptocurrency dealings, and the World Liberty Financial scheme as key areas of focus. She noted that there are 'so many' potential targets for investigation.
