Denmark's Spillemyndigheden Licence: A Thorough Vetting Process for Online Casino Operators

The licence costs DKK 480,600 for a first-time application, which is a combined betting and online casino licence. Renewing an existing licence costs noticeably less at DKK 137,300. The Danish state takes 28% of gross gaming revenue as tax, making it essential for operators to be financially sound.
