Deutsche Bank Brings Institutional Crypto Custody as DigiTap Offers Retail Early Entry
Deutsche Bank's move to launch a digital asset custody service for institutional and corporate clients in Europe marks another significant step in Bitcoin's integration into traditional finance. The bank plans to support Bitcoin, Ether, and selected stablecoins from the start.
The service is designed for asset managers, hedge funds, corporates, brokers, and sovereign institutions, allowing them to hold and transfer digital assets without building their own custody systems. Deutsche Bank will manage wallets and private keys on behalf of clients.
Meanwhile, DigiTap is targeting a different part of the market with its live crypto payments app and utility token $TAP available at $0.0589 during presale. The app offers wallet, card, and payment functionality, as well as staking, cashback, fee discounts, and VIP benefits.
The audit by Coinsult and SolidProof provides a clear trust point for buyers entering the presale. This stands in contrast to Bitcoin's more established market presence, where institutional access is expanding and the asset has become increasingly familiar to traditional finance.
