Dialectic's Starloop Vault Launches in September with Tokenized SpaceX Exposure
The investment firm Dialectic is set to launch its Starloop vault in September 2026, allowing holders of tokenized SpaceX exposure to utilize credit and earn yield through decentralized finance (DeFi) without selling their tokens. This move comes as Coinbase introduced stock tokens on Base just days prior.
Unlike traditional methods of accessing credit, Dialectic's model uses the tokenized position as collateral in blockchain lending marketplaces, enabling borrowers to deploy funds into strategies with higher returns than loan interests. The operation utilizes Makina's non-custodial system and is overseen by Dialectic's Meccanico division.
Dialectic is betting on SpaceX due to its impressive Q2 revenue growth, reaching $7.8 billion with a nearly tripled adjusted EBITDA figure of $3.5 billion. The firm puts a blended fair value calculation of $286 per share on SpaceX, which is about twice the market price at the time.
The launch coincides with Coinbase's introduction of tokenized stocks on Base using its B20 standard, providing an opportunity for on-chain lenders to utilize actual shares as collateral in Aave. However, liquidity remains low, with a combined market capitalization of approximately $7.5 million among four launched tokens.
