DigitalX Targets $108 Billion Digital-Asset Business with RWA and STO Expansion
DigitalX, a South Korean crypto exchange, has outlined plans to expand its product lineup to include real-world assets (RWA) and security tokens (STO). The move is part of the company's strategy to grow its digital-asset business to 150 trillion won ($108.7 billion) from a base of 1,500 trillion won ($1.09 trillion) in client assets.
The announcement was made by Mirae Asset Group Chairman and Global Strategy Officer Park Hyeon-joo at an event for DigitalX employees. Park emphasized the importance of preparing for future changes and urged employees to seek new possibilities continuously.
DigitalX will use its existing client assets as a base to achieve profitability next year, according to Park's plan. The company will also focus on digitizing physical assets such as gold, silver, and electricity, as well as strengthening competitiveness through principal investment.
