Dinari and Circle Launch Tokenized Stock Trading Platform in the United States
Dinari and Circle have partnered to bring tokenized stock trading to U.S. investors.
The platform uses Circle's USDC stablecoin for settlement and trading of tokenized equities on the blockchain, offering faster settlement times and 24/7 trading capabilities compared to traditional market hours.
Tokenized securities have gained traction as a way to modernize legacy financial infrastructure. By using USDC, a regulated stablecoin, the platform provides a stable medium for transactions, reducing the volatility often associated with cryptocurrencies.
The initial rollout will support 724 stock tokens, including all S&P 500 constituents, and is designed to comply with U.S. securities regulations.
