Dinari Expands dShares Platform to Sei Blockchain with S&P 500 Index
Dinari, a company that offers tokenized stocks, is planning to expand its dShares platform on the Sei blockchain. According to an announcement made on September 25 via official X, Dinari will provide dShares, which are backed by tokens representing US stocks and ETFs, on the Sei layer one blockchain.
dShares are designed to maintain the rights associated with traditional stock ownership, including dividend payments and voting rights, subject to certain conditions. Eligible US investors will be able to access a tokenized version of the S&P 500 index's full constituents through dShares.
Users will be able to trade on Sei using their own wallets and USDC (a dollar-pegged stablecoin) as a settlement currency, pending the launch date for dShares on Sei. The announcement does not specify when this will occur.
