DOGE and BNB Lead Crypto Market as BTC Slips Below $64k
Dogecoin (DOGE) and Binance Coin (BNB) led gains among major cryptocurrencies on Wednesday, while Bitcoin (BTC) slipped lower towards $63,700.
Traders are now awaiting the release of US inflation data, which could influence expectations for Federal Reserve interest-rate policy. Higher energy prices, driven by Brent crude's recent surge above $90 per barrel, may add to inflationary pressure and keep the Fed cautious about cutting rates.
Dogecoin was the strongest performer among major cryptocurrencies, rising nearly 3% to around $0.07. BNB followed with a roughly 2% daily gain, trading near $614.
The mixed market comes as traders remain uncertain about the possibility of a Middle East agreement and its impact on global markets.
