Crypto ranking platform CoinGecko has compared the five-year performance of Dogecoin (COINBASE:DOGEUSD) and Nike (NKE). Over the past five years, both assets have experienced significant volatility and periods of gains and losses.

The comparison looks back to October 2, 2021, when Dogecoin traded at $0.223 and Nike traded at $149.60. Fast-forward to the present: Dogecoin has recorded a smaller decline than Nike over the last five years.

Dogecoin is currently trading at $0.096, down 57% from its price on this date five years ago; Nike traded at $35.22, down 76% over the same timeframe. This does not point to either of the two assets as the stronger or weaker asset, as both experienced significant volatility and periods of gains and losses.
