DOGE Trading Volume Surges 123%, But Price Remains Weak
Dogecoin's trading volume has seen a significant increase of over 123% in just one day, rising to $219 million. Despite this surge in activity, the price remains weak and below multi-month lows.
The increase in participation suggests that traders are becoming more active in the current support zone, but technical indicators remain negative. The 24-hour spot volume has reached a high of over $1.5 billion, with open interest at more than $1.1 billion indicating leveraged traders are still heavily exposed.
The price is struggling to recover from its recent rejection below the 26-day exponential moving average, now near $0.074. Momentum indicators, such as the RSI of around 34-35, suggest oversold territory but do not necessarily indicate a long-term bottom during established downtrends.
