Dogecoin Bear Cross Sparks Debate on Rebound Prospects

Instruments
DOGE DOG
Share

Dogecoin (DOGE) has posted a rare weekly bearish cross, as its 20-week exponential moving average fell below its 200-week EMA. This occurred while DOGE trades at $0.10, stuck in a tight range of $0.08, $0.13.

According to Charting Guy, the signal has historically indicated that DOGE has bottomed out around this point. He has increased his position by 50% at the lows, believing that the token is due for a rebound.

However, not all traders share this conviction. Daan Crypto Trades views the recent bounce off $0.08 as constructive but frames it as a range trade rather than a trend reversal. He sees the current price action as 'near the middle' and is hesitant to predict a direction.
