Dogecoin Breaks 14-Month Streak With Golden Cross Signal
Dogecoin (DOGE) has broken a 14-month pause with the formation of a golden cross on its daily chart. This bullish signal occurs when the 50-day moving average (MA 50) crosses above the 200-day moving average (MA 200), a phenomenon not seen since August 2025. Historically, Dogecoin’s price reached $0.3 just weeks after a similar golden cross in September 2025, but the rally fizzled out due to selling pressure, culminating in a low of $0.09 during the October 2025 flash crash.
After months of downtrend and a death cross signal in November 2025, Dogecoin’s price began recovering from a low of $0.06 in mid-August 2026. The rally has flipped key resistance levels, including the MA 50 and MA 200, which have acted as barriers since early 2026. The recent surge also coincides with positive fundamentals, such as the launch of DogeOS’s public test network for Ethereum-style trading and Metallicus’s DogecoinVM, which aims to enhance Dogecoin’s utility and speed.
As of now, Dogecoin is trading at $0.0962, up 3.88% in the last 24 hours. The next critical resistance levels are $0.095 and $0.098, with a clear breakout past $0.106 potentially targeting $0.12 and $0.16. The golden cross signals a shift in momentum, but investors remain cautious given past volatility and the need for sustained buying pressure to confirm the trend.
