Dogecoin ETFs See Record Inflows Amid Bitwise Exit Plans
Recent data from SoSoValue shows that Dogecoin ETFs have seen their largest week since launch, with net inflows of $2.89 million in the week ending September 25. This beats the previous record held in January, which saw $2.59 million in net inflows. The influx of funds occurred over three sessions: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
The Bitwise decision to liquidate its Dogecoin ETF fund, BWOW, on October 14 has likely contributed to this surge in demand. This move comes as the issuer continues to optimize its product range to meet evolving investor needs.
Grayscale's GDOG, however, has seen significant growth since Bitwise announced it would liquidate its fund. Cumulative inflows into Grayscale rose from $11.7 million to $15.46 million, with all of Friday's $806,060 coming in. This brings the total assets held by Grayscale to $13.87 million, accounting for about 81% of the group's assets.
