U.S. Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw record net inflows of $2.89 million during the week ending September 25, surpassing the previous high of roughly $2.59 million in early January.

The surge occurred across three trading sessions and came as Bitwise Asset Management announced it would liquidate its Dogecoin fund in October.

Grayscale's GDOG fund dominated the inflows, collecting $806,060 on Friday alone and bringing its cumulative net inflows to $15.46 million after Bitwise's closure plans were confirmed.
