Dogecoin's price has dropped to $0.0914 on Friday evening, representing a 3.4% decline over the past 24 hours and 6.3% over the week.

The token's value is also down 64.7% from its level one year ago, but up 12.3% over the month.

A US fund, Bitwise Dogecoin ETF (BWOW), will stop trading and convert its entire holding into cash on October 14, which may impact the market.

The German federal cabinet is also set to discuss a draft bill that would abolish the one-year holding period for purchases made from January 1, 2027 onwards, potentially affecting gains from crypto assets held as private wealth.
