Dogecoin Price Slumps Amid Record ETF Inflows and Ongoing Token Issuance

Dogecoin's price slipped to $0.0926 on September 25, marking a 5.5% decline from its previous day high of $0.0988.

The drop coincided with spot Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US recording their strongest week since market debut, with net inflows totaling approximately $2.89 million, surpassing the prior record of about $2.59 million.

Despite this surge in institutional investor interest, the Dogecoin protocol continues to generate new supply at a rapid pace, with 100.8 million DOGE entering circulation weekly, representing around $9.3 million in market value.

The contrast between ETF inflows and token issuance has left analysts warning that demand from investors may not be sufficient to push the token higher unless combined with sustained broader accumulation from large holders.
