Dogecoin Price Tests Critical Support Level Ahead of $0.10 Target
Dogecoin's price has entered a critical technical test following its recent breakout as it approaches a crucial level of support, which will determine whether the cryptocurrency continues its bullish trend or corrects further.
At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $0.08631 with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $1.25 billion and a market capitalization of $13.45 billion, having declined 4.24% over the last 24 hours.
The cryptocurrency's recent breakout attempt is being retraced as it retreats towards the $0.085 Kijun-sen, one of the elements of the Ichimoku Cloud indicator that typically serves as a possible support or resistance level.
If DOGE can stay above this level, it may indicate that the recent retracement is simply a retest and not the beginning of a downtrend. However, a strong breakdown through the Kijun-sen and the prior area of breakout within four hours would invalidate the current pattern and result in further retracement action.
To maintain its bullish trend, Dogecoin's price needs to hold onto the present support zone intact, with subsequent resistance levels around $0.096. Breaking above this level would enable DOGE to continue its path towards the earlier swing high around $0.10.
