Dogecoin Surges Above $0.10 as Trend Reversal Takes Shape
Dogecoin (DOGE) has made a significant comeback, reclaiming the $0.10 level after a sharp recovery from its recent lows around $0.08. According to Brave New Coin data, DOGE gained approximately 1.84% over the past 24 hours.
The coin's technical structure has undergone a meaningful change with the breakout above the descending trendline and challenge of its 200-day moving average. Sheldon Diedericks highlights two important developments on his chart: the weekly trendline breakout and the reclaiming of the 200-day moving average.
The next confirmation would come from holding above the reclaimed trendline and moving average during a pullback. If buyers succeed, the recovery could extend towards $0.12, followed by the larger resistance area near $0.15-$0.16. A rejection back beneath the breakout area would weaken the developing bullish structure.
The weekly SuperTrend is also showing signs of a trend reversal following its prolonged correction. Price has recovered towards the descending SuperTrend resistance around $0.095-$0.10, bringing a possible bullish flip into focus. However, the weekly candle has not yet closed, and DOGE needs to maintain its position above the SuperTrend resistance into the weekly close to confirm the bullish signal.
