Dogecoin Surges Past Key Levels as ETF Inflows Soar
Dogecoin (DOGE) has seen a significant price increase over the past week, rising by nearly 19%. The token has broken above several key technical levels, including a descending resistance trendline and its major daily exponential moving averages. This breakout has improved DOGE's near-term technical outlook.
The rally in DOGE has also been accompanied by an influx of funds into Dogecoin-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs). According to SoSoValue data, these products recorded $909,650 in net inflows on Monday, more than three times the $284,510 reported for September 15. This increase points to renewed interest in DOGE through investment products as the broader cryptocurrency market rebounds.
While this positive momentum is encouraging, traders should be cautious not to overextend themselves. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) suggests that DOGE could rally higher in the near term, but it also sits just below overbought territory. Additionally, daily momentum indicators such as the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) have strengthened, indicating upward momentum.
The next key level for DOGE to clear is the supply zone between $0.10000 and $0.10219. If it can break above this area, the token could see further gains, potentially reaching a resistance range between $0.11619 and $0.11732. However, if DOGE fails to clear the supply zone, traders should look for support at the 200-day EMA near $0.09256 or the 50-day and 100-day EMAs near $0.08365 and $0.08350.
