Dogecoin Trolls Spider-Man's Record Opening: 'He Needs 11 More of Those'

Dogecoin's official account on X took aim at Spider-Man's record-breaking opening weekend, suggesting that the web-slinger needs about 11 more of those to match the dog's market cap.

The film Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned $360 million domestically alone, breaking the previous North American record also held by Avengers: Endgame. The Dogecoin account tweeted: 'Spider-man just had the biggest opening weekend in movie history. He needs about 11 more of those to catch the dog.'

This comes as crypto tracker Dogegod flagged on X that Dogecoin whales purchased another 200 million DOGE on Robinhood Markets, valued at roughly $14 million.
