DogeCoin's $DOGE Taps New Era as DogeOS Chikyū Testnet Launches

Dogecoin's (DOGE) ecosystem has made significant strides in its development journey. The project's community announced the launch of DogeOS Chikyū, a public testnet built on ZK-rollup technology. This marks a major milestone for Dogecoin as it transitions from a simple payment method to a full-fledged DeFi ecosystem.

The new network, developed by the team behind MyDoge crypto wallet, offers an EVM-compatible L2 application layer with accelerated transaction processing capabilities. With zero-knowledge proofs (ZK-proofs), DogeOS can handle heavy computations, increasing transaction speed to approximately 300 TPS while maintaining the security of the base blockchain.

The project's infrastructure developers have full access to standard Ethereum tooling, including Hardhat, Foundry, EthersJS, and Remix. This will enable seamless integration with existing Ethereum applications.
